Who Am I?
The task of finding the right therapist can be a daunting one. Talking about about your insecurities and the problems you are experiencing can be difficult. I provide a non-judgmental, genuine, and warm atmosphere which will put you at ease. My passion is helping people who are struggling with everyday problems around relationships, work, school and any type of stress or those that have more deep-rooted issues stemming from childhood or a traumatic event. In our work together, we will come up with the best plan of action to treat your problems. My goal is to help you develop a stronger and content sense of self.
I obtained my BA in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Rutgers University and a MA in Counseling from Montclair Sate University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with fifteen years’ experience in the mental health field. I have worked extensively with adults who suffer from Attachment Disorders and through our work together they were able to heal and to form healthy relationships as adults. I also have substantial experience providing counseling to adolescents and families.
I use different modalities of therapy that are uniquely suited to the individual client or family. Counseling services can also be provided in Arabic.
